Child Protection Orientation & Fingerprinting |
Get It Done and Over With
Will you ever chaperone a field trip, volunteer in any way with children of the parish? If the answer is “yes” or “probably”, then this event is for your convenience.On Monday, June 16 we will offer fingerprinting along with the orientation class. Both are required for those having contact with children here at the parish.
Fr. Tharp will present the child protection orientation (CPO) at 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Fingerprinting will be offered in between the two classes so you can attend either class and be fingerprinted on the same day.
Again, if you or anyone you know, is contemplating volunteering in any capacity to work with the children in our parish you need to attend the orientation and be fingerprinted before you can volunteer. Teachers may select volunteers only from the “approved” list. Attending a class and being fingerprinted is how to get on the list.
