Sacred Heart of Jesus School

Sacred Heart has a caring and highly qualified, fully certified faculty, committed to Catholic education. Approximately 1/3 of the faculty hold a master’s degree in education, and nearly 1/2 boast more than ten years experience. All religion teachers also achieve certification as catechists.

Along with full-time teachers for art, music and physical education, Sacred Heart has a full-time technology coordinator, a school librarian, nurse, school counselor, speech and language specialist, reading specialist, reading tutor, and intervention specialist (please see Student Support Staff section).

All faculty members are committed to increase their knowledge and stay current with the ever-changing trends in education; they regularly attend professional development to increase student learning.

In addition, all faculty and support staff are required to attend training for the Decree on Child Protection, now known as SafeParish, of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Sacred Heart of Jesus School complies with all Archdiocese of Cincinnati policies regarding background checks for teaching and non-teaching employees and for volunteers who have direct contact with children. Sacred Heart of Jesus School strictly adheres to the policy of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati governing security and student safety.
